// What it is

The World Games are the international meeting point for kettlebell juggling. Athletes compete in power and freestyle programmes, with judges and scoring, in front of the crowd that actually knows the discipline.

// Why it matters

Because a Spanish name rarely shows up on the start list. In the United States juggling has been contested for years, with judges, categories and a crowd that knows what it is looking at. In Spain none of that exists yet: a few people training on their own, and little else.

So going to San Diego is not about chasing a medal. It is about measuring up where the level actually is, and coming back knowing exactly what has to be taught here, with the evidence rather than the opinion.
